Jaisalmer, also known as the Golden City, is a beautiful desert destination located in Rajasthan in the heart of the Thar Desert. The city is famous for its yellow sandstone architecture that shines like gold in the sunlight.

The main attraction is Jaisalmer Fort, also called Sonar Quila, one of the largest living forts in the world where people still live and run shops inside the fort. Travelers also enjoy desert camping at Sam Sand Dunes with camel safari, jeep safari, sunset views, folk music, and traditional Rajasthani food.
